Competition: BuildReady_Cincinnati

 In 2025, the City of Cincinnati received a $2 million Pathways to Removing

Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant from the U.S. Department of Housing

and Urban Development. With the grant funds, the City intends to develop the

BuildReady initiative: a pre-approved building plans program for middle housing

(two-, three, and four-family buildings), as well as the construction of two

demonstration projects using the plans. There will be six (6) total pre-approved

plans developed as part of BuildReady, with the potential for more in the future.
